What's your screening process for Section 8 tenants?
I know the voucher covers a large portion of rent, but I still want to ensure I'm getting quality tenants. Here's what I currently do:
1. Credit check (looking for 600+ score)
2. Employment verification
3. Previous landlord references
4. Criminal background check
5. Income verification (3x rent rule)
Am I being too strict? What works for you?
